The Bunker Secure Hosting Limited, the Ultra Secure data Centre provider, are delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Neal to the position of Director of Data Centre Services. The company owns and leases high power, ultra secure, state of the art underground ex-military Data Centres at Ash (Kent), Greenham Common (Berkshire) and Bawdsey (Suffolk).
Simon specialises in data centres having previously held posts including Managing Director at Redbus Interhouse UK Ltd where he spent the previous 6 years building the business with the founders. Simon brings with him a wealth of data centre and high voltage N+1 systems experience to help The Bunker continue and accelerate its already fast growth. The Bunker operate ultra secure data centres in key out of town locations. Simon’s role is to shape the Data Centre offering, build revenue and plan the growth of more space within the 32 acres of real estate land owned by the company.
The Bunker has the unique selling proposition of ultra high levels of connectivity, power and security at low cost outside high risk urban areas. By acquiring ex-MOD nuclear bunkers, The Bunker has been able to create the ultimate environment for business critical online, data or telecoms applications at far lower cost than previously available. Together with Simon’s knowledge and experience in the market, The Bunker is perfectly positioned to fulfil the need for "Ultra Secure" Data Centre space with high power demands in this rapidly growing market.
